1. Unfold the mat and lay it flat in a shaded spot where your pet already likes to rest.
2. Invite your pet onto it with a treat or a favorite toy the first few times.
3. On hot days, take it along to the car, the patio or wherever your pet spends the afternoon.
4. Store it flat or loosely rolled when not in use.

Care: wipe with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it air dry. Check the surface regularly and take the mat away if your pet starts chewing it.
