1. Lift the armrest lid and set the carrier steadily on top of it.
2. Fasten the two bottom mounting straps and adjust the base until it sits stable.
3. Wrap the two long safety straps around the headrest posts of the driver and passenger seats and buckle them.
4. Tighten all the straps so the carrier can't shift while you drive.
5. Place your pet inside and clip the built-in tether to a harness, not a collar.
